OIAM 3 -Top 7-

Mmmm....what a bored concert last night huh? We all were waiting for almost a week just because of OIAM 3 concert top 7. But what the hell? the concert end up with boring-ness. We were expect last night performance must be very good and grand. But unfortunately, it doesn't. In fact, most of the students did a photocopy job. Only three of them did a great job. Just continue your reading huys because we will mention who did a great job last night. And the most important thing maybe our weekly ranking. We thought among the guest judges, Francisca Peter is the best so far. Speaking english very good and she did comments to the contastents. Instead of the previous judges, most of them they just said "overall good.". Sorry but it was very childish and just like not professional judge. Mmmmm...and than, the elimination actually quite dramatic but i did not agree fify was out. We thought she deserve to be place another weeks. Based on her last week's performance, she did quite a good job. When the hosts called Simon and Nine. I said to myself, fify might be safe tonight. But it wasn't. She is OUT. Sorry to all her fan and to fify good luck outside there.

OK fans, lets start our review regarding to their last night concert. Hehehehe....lets start from the first contastent. It was Esther.

Esther
Actually, we quite schocked when she almost modified the song to 180 degrees. What a creative arrangement from her. She is one of the contastents in OIAM3 who is able to modify the song and able to make the song more beautiful. As far as we concern, all her performance she did modify melody quite intresting (except dialah dihati). Mmmm..even though it was a bit bored at the begining of the song, but there was climax of it. Very good vocal! before that, we must agree with Paul because the song doesn't have a very strong melody and the song is quite forgetable. The dressing also looks very dull. The dressing remind me about 10 years at the back and she looks fatter in the dress.

Rizu
Very good vocal control. But too much randiation and the rendiation seems like pushed too much. He has a great personality, great attitude on stage and great cute face. Actually he has a great package to be a singer. But, maybe the Malaysians do not like him because the facial expression. The bad side of his performance last night, there was no dynamic and climax. It was just flattt...and no high to low and low to high (if you knw what we meant)

Simon
He did a very wonderful song from a wonderful singer. However, we thought his performance last night wasn't that good. In fact, singing without guitar is seems like something missing. Because his movement doesn't looks smooth. He has a great voice, we know but he has the problem in connecting with the audiances. Another thing, we can't feel and didin't get something special. We mean in the terms of performance. But vocally...once again...actually he did a great one. One more thing, his performance last night a bit bored and nothing special. He just deliverd the vocal but not the performance.

Aweera
Mmmmm...we hate the last part of the song. Because once again...actually he was shouting at the last part of the song. No problem in doing that, but please don't make it too long. Because the audiances want to hear the art of singing, the dynamic in singing, the rendiation of singing and how the contastant going to play around with her/his vocal. But what what Aweera did especially in the last part of his performance, he was shouting and too long. Another thing, we thought the band was too big and a great music but his vocal did not as good as the music. But its still a fun and energetic performance though.

Amylea
Agreed with Paul. The song is too jazzy and very soft. In fact, we were feeling sleepy and seems like a dull performance from her. Vocally, it was really great and we can hear it very loud and clear. Her voice projection also very good compared to the others. But as we said, her last night performance very soft and seems like very week. She need to sing a catchy song or something can make she has to shake her body. It will be better and looks the performance alive. Sadly, she sang her own song but she failed to tackle the judges to get the immunity.

Nine
It was very energetic performance from him. But maybe he too excited to entertain the audiances and his performance end up by loosing his voice control. Vocally it was just all right and nothing special. In fact there were some parts of the song a bit pitchy. It was fun from him but vocally, maybe one of the weakest. He must know how control the vocal before able to entertain the audiances.

Tomok
Lets talk about the vocal. Vocally...we noticed there were problems on it. But..what a very creative and very entertaining performance from him. Right? He knows how to connect with the audiance and he knows how to perform on stage and he knkows how to tackle the judges. Very brilliant strategies. Even though her vocal is not as good as some of the contastents, but the everytime he stand up on the stage, he did quite a good job and very creative. However, the first part of the song...it was a bit clumsy and the chorus part..it was excellent. Good job for Tomok.

Now our weekly ranking...Tomok deserve to get the immunity! but vocally...maybe esther or amylea deserve the immunity. In the terms of creativity we would like to pick either Tomok and Esther. Because only those two contastents modified the songs greatly. Amylea??? she sang her own song...so we can't really comment on it.
