Review oiam 3 - Top 4 -

Well, once more time Malaysia got it wrong. We really cannot believe it when the hosts announced Amylea did not thru to the next round. Cannot believe it when she is eliminated tonight. Well, what to do???? Malaysian have spoken for a week a go and they choose Amylea to be voted out. As a result, she is out tonight and there is nothing we can do about it. We always thought she deserve at least in top 3. Actually we just comparing with the other two contastents.
Straight to our review about the contastents' performances.

Nine
Its kind of adibah's or faizal's performance when the four backup singer came on the stage and held plastic cup..LOL..its funny anyway!!! Vocally it was soft and great. In fact his voice sounds very entertaining and smooth. We have to agreed with the judge when they said its a bit boring performance. Well, actually because he was the first contastent. When Paul said he shows his different side of himself...once again we agreed with him. By singing this kind of song he actually showing his different styles/ side of himself. But since the song is too safe and very regular....he could not show his singing ability. In fact, the song actually is very easy for him.

Tomok
The bad thing is, he did the same thing again. He modified the song with almost similar tempo which is expected performance from him. What we would expected was...something very new from him. Anyway...the good thing is he rocks the stage. The dynamic was there when he started with a rock arrangement and switched it to a little bit slower...it was really like in a concert. Another thing is it was an energetic performance and very, very entertaining. He really knows how to tackle the audiance and the judges. But seems like his off when sang the "sekuntum mawar merah though". Overall..it was great

Esther
We just love her performance tonight. It was really like in a mixed grand concert. When she started the accapella which is very nice and perfect and switched it to a malay song. The drama and she looks so rileks and happening on stage. It was really nice. The vocal, dynamic, entertaining and variaties...everything is in one package. BUT...sorry..always have but. She seems like doesn't have enough stamina especially in the last song. She looks a bit semput. Compared to Tomok ....we think tomok won but overall performance she made it.

Aweera
He only have 4 minutes to show the judges and Malaysia his singing ability. But we noticed most of the 4 minutes time he spent it with the audiances. Thats very poor!!!! We understood he was trying to make his performance looks like a concert. But he must know this is singing competation. Focus on the singing part first then the overall performance. Of course it looks like and we felt like a concert but we did not satisfy at all because he did not sing much. Just a few parts of the song and talk to the audiance and sing again and talk again. Well, maybe he wanted to make something different but..it didn't work for us. However, we like the opening when he was at the back and came on the stage...really like a professional singer.
